Michael Sugiura is a Chartered Engineer. Michael's qualifications include:

Michael is a member of a number of recognised professional bodies including:

• The UK Institute of Acoustics
• The Institute of Mathematics and its Applications
• Associate of the Acoustical Society of Japan

Michael is an Acoustics Consultant with over twenty five years experience in dealing with noise problems having worked for both consultants and local authorities. During his career he has also worked as an Enforcement Officer with the City of Westminster Environmental Health Department.

Michael has considerable experience in:

• noise nuisance investigation
• noise measurement and prediction
• preparation of technical evidence and reports

Michael has also appeared as an expert witness at numerous hearings and public inquiries.

Michael established his own independent practice in October 1995 specialising in all types of environmental noise issues.
